Apple and Sage Turkey Meatballs

  • 1 cup grated apple
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, chopped sage, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite sauce.
