  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for the cheesecake)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, flour, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
  5. Top with the remaining brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool before serving.
