Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

A delicious recipe for cheesy scalloped potatoes elevated with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour half of the mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese, turkey bacon, and chicken ham on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown on top.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier variant, add some chili flakes.
  • Make sure to cut the potatoes evenly for consistent cooking.
