- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
- Add the macaroni and crumbled turkey bacon to the cheese sauce. Stir until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, and top with additional cheese if desired.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding some breadcrumbs on top before baking.
- You can substitute the turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
