  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant coffee granules, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, melted butter, and cooled brewed coffee.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and cut into strips.
  7. Roll each strip into a spiral and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over the warm rolls.

Notes
