- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
