Freakin’ Fantastic Fried Rice

A delicious and easy-to-make fried rice recipe featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for a tasty twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. In the same skillet, add the sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and chicken ham. Mix well.
  5. Push rice to the side and scramble the eggs in the empty space. Combine everything together.
  6. Fold in the green onions and turkey bacon.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken ham in soy sauce before adding it to the rice.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers, peas, or carrots.
