Homemade Fried Rice

Enjoy a delicious twist on traditional fried rice with turkey bacon and chicken ham. This easy recipe is perfect for using up leftover rice!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  2. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add diced carrots and chicken ham, cooking until they soften.
  4. Stir in the cooked rice and soy sauce, mixing well.
  5. Push the rice to the side of the skillet and scramble the eggs; mix them into the rice.
  6. Finish with sesame oil and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Add vegetables of your choice for extra nutrition.
  • Using day-old rice helps improve the texture.
