Peppermint Swirl Fudge

This Peppermint Swirl Fudge is the perfect indulgent treat for the holiday season, combining rich chocolate with refreshing peppermint for a festive delight.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, and butter over medium heat.
  3. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Continue boiling for 5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract and half of the crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crushed peppermint candies on top and gently press them into the fudge.
  7. Let the fudge cool at room temperature for 2 hours before cutting into squares.
