Pumpkin & Mushroom Spaghetti with Crispy Bacon

A delicious and hearty dish that combines pumpkin, mushrooms, and turkey bacon in a delightful spaghetti.

  • 200 grams spaghetti
  • 1 cup pumpkin, diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 150 grams crispy turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add diced pumpkin and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they are softened.
  5. Stir in the crispy turkey bacon, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Serve hot, topped with grated parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon.
  • Feel free to add herbs like parsley for extra flavor.
