  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, and sugar over medium heat until warmed.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together egg yolks, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the warm pumpkin mixture to the egg yolks, whisking constantly.
  5. Pour the mixture into ramekins and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Fill the baking dish with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until set.
  8. Let cool, then refrigerate before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter dessert, add more sugar as desired.
  • Top with whipped cream for extra indulgence.
