Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs and mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan, then drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it.
  8. Top with the remaining batter and drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before slicing into bars.
