  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter and brown sugar; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour the butter mixture over the crackers to cover them evenly.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top; let sit for a few minutes to melt.
  8. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the crackers.
  9. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the chocolate.
  10. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
