- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups corn chips
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup salsa
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the black beans, diced tomatoes, and taco seasoning to the skillet. Mix well and bring to a simmer.
- In the slow cooker, layer half of the corn chips, then half of the beef mixture, followed by half of the cheese and salsa. Repeat the layers.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot with additional toppings as desired.
