  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup additional sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then incorporate the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with sour cream, starting and ending with flour.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the additional sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Pour the remaining batter on top and finish with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before inverting onto a serving plate.
