  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a paste.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and crumbled turkey bacon; mix well.
  7. Combine cheese sauce with macaroni and mix until well-coated.
  8. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with additional cheese if desired.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
